Course aim

To develop students' understanding of the role of Design and Technology within the school curriculum.

Course content

Students will develop knowledge of the use of curriculum frameworks (for example the ACARA Technologies); understanding of planning and programming (including design briefs and design folios); critical analysis of teaching methods; resources for teaching and learning, introduction to OHSW issues, sustainability and effective resource management.
