The Management Practicum assists students in developing a practical appreciation of their particular field of study within a work environment and assists them in linking concepts covered in their program to a work setting. Students are expected to engage with the organisation in either organisational management or program-based roles.
A field placement project carried out within a company or other organisation under academic and industry supervision. A requirement of the placement is the production of a comprehensive report and presentation. Student and supervisor evaluations, including personal critical reflection for the student, are also a critical component of the course.
