Students form a practical and theoretical understanding of world puppetry traditions within a contemporary Australian context.
Students research puppetry and its applications internationally to broaden their knowledge of puppetry in its world context. Students construct their own puppets through design, sculpture and articulation processes and subsequently develop a performance. Students develop a industry proposal that furthers the knowledge and understanding of the application of puppetry to the wider community.
