To examine philanthropy and fundraising in the context of the arts ecology, and provide students with an understanding of the arts as an industry, the organisations in it, covering the application of strategic management and planning processes, managing the arts as business and income generation approaches from the perspective of diversifying funding.
Strategic planning and management; financial management and business planning; income generation; fundraising and sponsorship including submission writing; and entrepreneurial management in the arts, control and evaluation.
