The aim of this course is to develop previously learnt key concepts and knowledge with new information while simultaneously creating and responding to personal change in the context of ongoing reform processes within the mental health sector.
Theoretical content will involve clinical consultation and supervision; advanced therapeutic skill; working with clients with dual diagnostic categories; working with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds; promoting inter-professional and cross organisational practice relationships; delivering comprehensive coordinated care; contemporary legal frameworks; research principles, process, methods and ethics; critical application of evidence based research to practical situations.
