The aim of this course is to examine the role and functions of a Building Surveyor.
The course is divided into nine modules as follows:
Module 1—What is building surveying?
Module 2—How does a building surveyor work in practice?
Module 3—Building legislation and building surveying
Module 4—The functions of a building surveyor
Module 5—Legal issues in building surveying
Module 6—Assessment of documentation for the purposes of issuing a building approval
Module 7—The assessment and inspection process
Module 8—The role and functions of building inspectors
Module 9—Enforcement of building legislation
