Course aim

The aim of this course is to develop knowledge of fire technology and in particular the principles and implementation of active protection in large and complex buildings.

Course content

Fire extinguishers and their use, fire hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, fire and smoke detection and alarms, smoke control, fire risk assessment, upgrading of buildings.
