Description

The music minor explores music performance, theory, composition and music production techniques across a range of genres and styles, including traditional and popular music, cabaret, theatre, film, media and broadcasting. In combination with historical analysis and research, students will examine the music industry and the interplay between creators, producers, performers and audiences. Participants will undertake both individual and team-based projects to produce their own industry standard musical works. Instrumentalists, vocalists, managers and producers will conduct live performances at local venues and festivals, including the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival.
