Aim

The program aims to prepare students for professional careers in engineering and robotics and develop skills to investigate, plan, design, manufacture and all applications of robots in a wide range of fields and equipment used in all aspects of robotics.

Content & Structure

The program has been devised to give a very broad engineering knowledge in the first two years so that graduates have an extensive understanding of basic fundamentals and an appreciation of the diversity of engineering. The first year contains study in fundamental science and engineering courses including electrical and energy systems and mathematics. The second year builds on this base with courses dealing with a variety of areas including electronics, microprocessors and instrumentation. Students then transfer to Flinders University to complete their award.
