Course aim

To integrate and apply knowledge of pharmacotherapeutics, professional practice and research methodology acquired throughout the program. This is to be in a hospital pharmacy professional practice setting under supervision and mentoring to encourage further advancement of skills development in that practice setting.

Course content

Students undertake an experiential placement and a research project in a hospital pharmacy practice setting. Practice will include the provision of services including medication supply; medication history taking; medication management and review; medication counseling; clinical pharmacy services; medicines information; collection, analysis, evaluation and reporting of data.
