Course aim

To broaden students’ knowledge and skills of assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions and injury of the lower-limb.

Course content

Pathophysiology, assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions and injury with a focus on the lower limb; Assessing the athlete; Principles of load management and return to sport; Specialised tests for assessment of the foot and lower limb relevant to podiatric biomechanics theory; Foot Orthoses manufacture. Critical thinking and clinical reasoning.
