Course aim

Understanding and appreciation of Model Based Systems Engineering principles and its differences and relations to documents based Systems Engineering. Ability to assess and manage MBSE projects and build models for Systems Engineering purposes using System Modelling Language (SYSML) and Object Oriented Systems Engineering Methodology (OOSEM).

Course content

This course covers detail description of SysML diagrams, a modelling language specifically designed for Systems Engineering purposes. Also Object Oriented Systems Engineering Methodology (OOSEM) is covered in detail. Modelling principles including model initiation, development and tailoring are practiced using Enterprise Architect (Sparx Systems) software throughout the course. Other topics are model management and assessment.
