To investigate the process and strategies for engaging participation, developing movement competence and skilled performers with a focus on teaching for effective learning.
Students will apply principles and precepts of the Play Practice approach to analyse learning environments, appraise strategies for engagement, evaluate the alignment of learning tasks and identify the opportunity for learner participation. Students will investigate theoretical constructs from dynamical systems, complexity thinking and non-linear teaching/ coaching approaches to facilitating effective learning.
