Course aim

The aim of this course is to undertake a comprehensive study of the anatomical structures of the head and vertebral column, and the structure and function of the human nervous system (central and peripheral).

Course content

Gross and surface anatomy of the head and vertebral column (cervical, thoracic and lumbar); structure and function of the central and peripheral nervous systems, (sensory, motor, visual, auditory and vestibular systems, association and speech areas, cranial nerves, Autonomic nervous system, CNS blood supply, cerebro-spinal fluid, development of the brain).
