Course aim

To develop the theory of discrete-time linear systems, Fourier analysis, filtering, sampling and multi-rate digital signal processing, and to provide students with experience to develop signal processing algorithms for engineering problems using industry-standard design and simulation tools.

Course content

Discrete-time linear systems, sampling, z-transform, Fourier analysis, discrete Fourier transform, digital filters, multirate signal processing, bandpass sampling, application of advanced digital signal processing algorithms to radar and telecommunications.
