The aim of this course is to examine how the physical environment can be designed and managed to achieve desired event outcomes for businesses and consumers
Cultural venues are being built around the world as attractions and as part of integrated developments. They enliven contemporary life, convey symbolic meanings and are often used to attract economic investment. The course adopts a multidisciplinary approach to examine issues related to venue and facility management. Through the lens of environmental management, it recognizes the event experiences are shaped by physical settings at a range of spatial scales. The course includes ten topics:
