Course aim

Match Studio is an interdisciplinary research and professional practice studio based in UniSA Creative. Match Studio delivers opportunities for students to work on client focused projects that engage with and develop UniSA's Graduate Qualities. This course aims to develop students' ability to link disciplinary focused theory and skills within an interdisciplinary professional practice project context. Match Studio selects its client focused problem based learning projects from the following areas: community organisations, social enterprise; low carbon living and green industries; health and wellbeing; education; and creative enterprise development.

Course content

Students will develop and deploy skills in client focused problem solving within collaborative teams by participating in client briefings, undertake project focused research, and work independently and collaboratively on concept and design development and artefact production, project documentation and presentation.

There are no prerequisites for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Creative Industries (DBCI) program. For all other students, successful completion of the first year of an undergraduate program or with the approval of the Course Coordinator.
