Course aim

To expand students' understanding of professional design practice and to support their transition into practice.

Course content

Students will develop advanced knowledge of practice theory, professionalisation and interdisciplinary practice. Students will develop advanced skills in contract administration, preparing a portfolio, verbal presentation techniques, documenting achievements, generating work, identifying expertise, marketplace positioning, developing business plan, promoting professional practice, registrations of interest, and competition briefs.
