Course aim

To consolidate and broaden students' mathematical experiences and understandings; to enhance students' understandings of mathematics being a functional part of lifestyle (Anangu; worldwide); to provide students with mathematical experiences relevant to their lives and to their work as Anangu Education Workers (AEWs).

Course content

What is mathematics: an examination of the historical development of Western mathematics; critical reflection of relevance and purpose of everyday mathematics; consolidation and development of personal mathematical skills.
