Course aim

To extend students’ insights into the collection and application of transport-related data with an emphasis on data concerning the travel patterns of individuals and households.

Course content

The transport analysis process; vehicle counting and classification; speed, travel time and delay; origin-destination surveys; trip generation studies; travel demand surveys; transport survey technology.
