Course aim

To acquire knowledge of the principles of conservation biology expected from anyone working in the fields of biodiversity conservation, environmental and park management.

Course content

Why conserve, biodiversity, extinction, population genetics, risk assessment, carrying capacity, private and public conservation, island biogeography theory, captive breeding, re-introduction biology, global issues of conservation management, wildlife management.
