Course aim

To introduce students to theories and research in the areas of personality study, social psychology, abnormal psychology and human psychological development.

Course content

In this course students will be introduced to the history and philosophy of psychology, personality psychology (including theories of personality; methods of assessing personality and individual differences), social psychology (including interpersonal behaviour, attitudes and discourse) abnormal psychology (conditions and therapy approaches) and the major theories of human cognitive and social development.
