This degree requires completion of courses totalling 108 units, including a common first year that introduces students to the aviation industry, and key aspects of aviation management, practice, safety and human performance.
The second year contains more specialised courses in aviation management such as human factors, airline operations management, and airline finance. Students also study courses in project management principles, and quantitative methods, in addition to courses taught by UniSA Business that cover the fundamental aspects of management, organisations, and economics.
In final year, students study advanced topics in risk and safety management systems, airport management, air space management, and strategic management. Students develop skills in research methods and planning as preparation for undertaking an aviation project. Students also and have the opportunity to complete two electives.
