Entry requirements
For entry into the Graduate Certificate in Information Technology applicants are required to have:
- A completed Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; OR
- A completed Diploma in a related discipline and have been employed in a relevant industry for three (3) or more years; OR
- Five (5) years or more proven employment in this field or industry.

In addition to meeting academic entry requirements, international students who speak English as a second or additional language must also meet the University's English language entry requirements. Aim
The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology aims to provide graduates with the foundational skills for IT roles in public or private sector organisations. The award is also designed to be a possible pathway for further postgraduate study.
Content & Structure
The program requires successful completion of 18 units. Students complete 13.5 units of core courses and then select from either Network Infrastructure (INFT 5032) or Business Practices for IT Professionals (INFS 5058).
