Aim

To provide students with the opportunity for advanced study and introductory research experience in a range of science disciplines. This includes Nano- and Biomaterials, Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Agricultural and Food Science, Environmental Science, Earth Science, and Ecology. The program will prepare students for postgraduate research or for employment as professional scientists.

Content & Structure

The degree requires the completion of 36 units including:

  • 1 x 4.5 unit research methods course
  • 2 x 4.5 unit electives
  • 1 x 4.5 field work course
  • 2 x 4.5 and 1 x 9 unit honours thesis courses.
