Aim

To provide advanced coursework and a major industrial, scientific or commercial project in applied mathematics. The program will prepare students for postgraduate studies and for employment in industrial, scientific or commercial environments, and will enhance their planning and problem-solving capabilities.

Content & Structure

The degree requires the completion of 36 units including:

  • 1 x 4.5 unit research methods course
  • 3 x 4.5 unit electives
  • 2 x 4.5 and 1 x 9 unit honours thesis courses.
