Aim

The Graduate Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security) aims to develop cyber security professionals with knowledge and skills to advise stakeholders on the relevant cyber security standards, frameworks and guidelines to ensure compliance in complex IT environments.

Content & Structure

This 36 unit program will provide students with specialist knowledge and skills relevant to the field of cyber security. The first four courses are designed to build the underlying body of knowledge primarily in foundational information technology. The final four courses will focus on IT business practices, risk and governance, human factors and cyber criminal behaviour and network security.

From 4 August 2025, the University of South Australia will no longer be accepting applications for new students. Study at Adelaide University.
