Aim

This program provides graduates in Cyber Engineering and Telecommunications with an advanced understanding of existing and emerging technology in the sphere of IoT and Control in both terrestrial and space contexts. It trains them to develop a high-level approach to holistic security and resilience throughout the whole system development and operational lifecycle.

Content & Structure

To qualify for this award students are required to complete 72 units in total. The courses are grouped around the following focus areas:
Telecommunications (22.5 units)
Cyber Engineering (18 units)
Big Data (9 units)
Systems Engineering (4.5 units)
Research (18 units).

Work-integrated learning is facilitated through the UniSA STEM Professional Practice Program, requiring students to gain at least 450 hours (60 days FTE) of skills and competencies through a range of engagement activities such as placements, internships, guest lectures, industry panels, site visits, networking and events.
