Entry requirements
Entry into the Honours program will be available to students who have successfully completed a bachelor degree in aviation or a related discipline. Applicants should have displayed a high level of academic achievement throughout their degree program, normally achieving at least a credit level average.
Applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit and the availability of a supervisor in the proposed area of research.

Aim
To provide advanced coursework and a major industrial, scientific or commercial project in aviation. The program
will prepare students for postgraduate studies and for employment in industrial, scientific or commercial
environments, and will enhance their planning and problem-solving capabilities.
Content & Structure
The degree requires the completion of 36 units including:
- 1 x 4.5 unit research methods course
- 3 x 4.5 unit electives
- 2 x 4.5 and 1 x 9 unit honours thesis courses
