The BA (Languages and Intercultural Communication) degree combines the disciplines of language studies and applied linguistics with a professional specialisation tailored to each student's career interests.
The program requires the completion of 108 units over three years. Students complete a Language major (36 units); a sub-major or major in Applied Linguistics (27 or 36 units); a minor study in a professional specialisation (18 units); elective courses which may include a second foreign language or a study abroad/work placement program (13.5 units) and one common core course (4.5 units). Students who wish to study a second foreign language to sub-major level can do so by taking a sub-major in Applied Linguistics
