Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting must have completed a recognised bachelors degree or equivalent.
Normally applicants who have completed a Bachelors degree with a Grade Point Average of 4* or better will be recognised for entry.
*A GPA of 4 refers to UniSA's Grading scale which has a range of 1-7, other equivalent Australia and International grading scales will be considered.

The minimum English language entry requirements for international students who speak English as a foreign language are as follows:

This program is designed to provide continuing education in accontancy relevant to the professional interests of graduates without a previous educational award in this discipline.
Content & Structure
This program comprises four courses totalling 18 units.
1. No course from the program schedule which is substantially equivalent to a course taken in gaining another award may be included in the program of study.
2. Students who have taken for another award, a course which is substantially equivalent to a course from the program schedule, may be granted up to 4.5 units (1 course) of credit or may substitute a course of equal standing and units value, with the approval of the Program Director.
3. The Program Director may approve variations to the program of study by substituting courses from the program schedule with courses from other graduate level programs in this or another university.

1. Subject to a student satisfying any prerequisites or corequisites, course options may be selected from the following courses: Managerial Economics; Management Accounting M; Managerial Finance: Advanced Accounting M; Commercial and Corporations Law M; Auditing Principles M; Issues in Accounting Theory; Taxation Law M; and Information, Systems and Competitive Advantage M.
2. This is a fee paying program offered in Hong Kong in conjunction with the Hong Kong Baptist University. Applications should be directed to the School of Continuing Education, Hong Kong Baptist University.
