Aim

The Bachelor of Communication qualifies individuals who apply a broad and coherent body of knowledge in organisational communication with a professional concentration in journalism within private, public and non-profit organisations both nationally and internationally. The program also provides pathways for further learning in postgraduate studies.

Content & Structure

Graduates of the Bachelor of Communication degree will have broad and coherent knowledge and skills in managing professional communication and the media in contemporary culture and society, writing and document development for print, radio, and electronic media, and application of critical and analytic thinking to the strategic planning and management of communication and media.

The students will complete 108 units of study comprising 90 units of core courses and 18 units of electives.
