Entry requirements
For entry into the Graduate Certificate in Organisational Safety and Human Factors, applicants will be required to have:
- A Bachelor degree in Safety or Human Factors; OR
- Any Bachelor degree AND two years of relevant health and safety or Human Factors work experience; OR
- A minimum of four years equivalent full-time relevant Health and Safety or Human Factors work experience.
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Aim
This program aims to provide graduates with specialised knowledge and communication skills to begin practice as a safety and/or human factors professional.
Content & Structure
This program requires the completion of 18 units of core courses. The program is offered online and can be undertaken in one year of part-time study.
