Aim

To prepare students who possess the theoretical background, professional ethics and practical skills necessary to undertake professional land surveying measurements and analysis.

Content & Structure

The program comprises 15 courses (72 units) over a two year period including one course taught by the University of Tasmania via distance education and cross-institutional enrolment. An exit point is available at the successful completion of first year with the award of Graduate Diploma in Surveying.

The normal mode of enrolment is full time (8 x 4.5 unit courses) in year 1, followed by full-time study (6 x 4.5 unit courses, and 1 x 9 unit course) in year 2. However, this program can be completed in part-time mode in consultation with the Program Director.
