The program is designed to provide advanced coursework leading to a professionally-recognised qualification in Urban and Regional Planning, or equivalent qualification.
Content & Structure
The Master of Urban and Regional Planning requires the completion of courses totalling 72 units. Courses are listed in the program schedule below.
1. Students are required to take 4 elective courses with a total value of 18 units.Students are required to complete 3 first year electives and 1 second year elective from the list below. Not all electives will necessarily be available in any one calendar year and the decision on whether or not to offer a particular elective will depend on student demand. Students may be allowed to substitute electives from other university programs with the approval of the Program Director.
2. Students wishing to undertake Planning Work Placement in their second year should note that the course generally runs during study period one.
