To be eligible for selection, applicants are required to:
Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), and
Alternatively, applicants can fulfil one of the following requirements with a competitive result, and demonstrate that they fulfil any prerequisite requirements, and other academic requirements for the program:
Students in the Bachelor of Human Movement interested in the Exercise and Sport Science specialisation can apply to transfer at the end of the first semester. Note that this is a competitive process and transfer will be dependent on successful completion of the first semester.
Entry to the Exercise and Sport Science specialisation is only available to students of the Bachelor of Human Movement.
From 2018 this specialisation will be available as a new program, Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science.
The program prepares graduates to work in the field of exercise and sport science designing, implementing and evaluating exercise and physical activity for healthy people. Graduates may be eligible for registration as Accredited Exercise Scientists with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
