Aim

This program provides graduates in Electrical and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) oriented engineering disciplines with an advanced understanding of the current practice and technology in one of the following streams:

  • Computer Systems Engineering
  • Electrical Power Engineering
  • Microsystems Technology
  • Telecommunications
  • In addition a general stream is available without a specialisation

Content & Structure

Students are required to complete a total of 54 units of study to be eligible for the degree. The 54 units of study may consist of either:

  • 7 courses (31.5 units) from any specialisation stream listed in the Program Schedule of Courses, Engineering Research Practice (4.5 units) and Engineering Minor Thesis 1 and 2 (18 units); OR
  • 12 courses (54 units) from any specialisation stream listed in the Program Schedule of Courses.
