Rules
1. Credit for previous studies or exemption from work within courses may be granted in accordance with University policy. Maximum credit allowed is normally one third of the total units of the program. Credit will only be granted for coursework components and not for any of the research components.
In order to assess Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) each individual wishing to undertake the Doctor of Project Management will submit a detailed portfolio to the Postgraduate Project Management Committee specifically describing:
all academic qualifications, a description of employment history fully detailing all project management experience, a description of all involvement in research activities, a description of all published and / or presented papers.
2. Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Project Management or the Master of Project Management wishing to apply for entry to the Doctor of Project Management will be granted credit for their previous awards, provided the appropriate options have been undertaken (and they have achieved a GPA of 5 or better), and they meet eligibility criteria for a Higher Degree by Research.
Notes
1. As part of the professional development and in meeting the requirements of the 2/3 research component of the IPPJ, all students have access to Research Education Support Activities (RESA) which include a wide range of courses.
