For admission to the Master of International Business, prospective students must satisfy the following minimum requirements:
A recognised undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualifications as determined by NOOSR guidelines*.
* Normally applicants with a grade point average of 4** or better will be recognised for entry.
** A GPA of 4 refers to the UniSA grading scale which has a range 1 - 7, other Australian and international grading scales will be considered.
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

The Master of International Business is designed to provide graduates with skills and expertise to manage a business in a global environment.
Content & Structure
The Master of International Business is a 54 unit program, comprised of 12 courses of 4.5 units each. The structure for the Master of International Business is as follows: four Division core courses; and a number of specialised international business courses.

2. Enrolment in the listed electives, including any other electives offered in the Division of Business, requires the approval of the Program Director.

1. Applications for credit, exemption and / or studies in lieu will be considered in accordance with the University of South Australia Policy No: A-13.9, Recognition of prior learning for credit, exemption and studies-in-lieu, Appendix A. Credit transfer framework: Recognition of formal studies at other tertiary education institutions and / or of work or life experience. These applications will be considered by the Head of School or nominee. Credit may be granted for courses: that have a business and management focus; that have been completed at postgraduate level within 10 years at the time of application; or that have been completed at a Pass 2 grade or higher as per the University of South Australia grading system or its equivalent.
