The admission criteria have been grouped to assist you to easily find the information most relevant to your circumstances. However, you may fit into more than one and the university will consider applicants against each of the relevant criteria.
To be eligible for selection, applicants are required to have:
Completed the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE); and
completed 200 credits of subjects;
achieved a grade of C* or better in the Personal Learning Plan, 20 credits of literacy, 10 credits of numeracy and the Research Project at Stage 2;
achieved a grade C- or better in an additional 60 credits at Stage 2;
obtained a competitive ATAR.
* For Stage 2 subjects a grade of C- or better is required
Alternatively, applicants are required to have one of the following:
Completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma;
Completed or partly completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution;
Completed at least four Open Universities Australia (OUA) courses at the appropriate level;
Completed an award from TAFE or from another registered training organisation at AQF Certificate IV or above and fulfilled any prerequisite requirements
Qualified for Special Entry; or
Completed the University Foundation Studies program;
OR
Completed one of the following professional courses:

This program prepares graduates for professional careers in their chosen field by developing knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of information technology.
Content & Structure
The program consists of:
Core courses in Information Technology (58.5 units)
An Elective course (4.5 units)
A major (36 units) in Cloud Computing
A final semester group project (9.0 units)
A total of 108 units are required for the completion of the program.
1. The majority of the courses are delivered at the Mawson Lakes Campus with the remainder taught at City West or Magill. Please check the timetable to confirm the location and possible external mode offering.
2. The Elective can be chosen from any course within the University, IT or non-IT
3. Please enrol into this course at least 6 weeks prior to the study period beginning so projects can be allocated to student groups.
