Aim

The Bachelor of Media Arts degree qualifies individuals who apply vocationally relevant skills and knowledge within a broad cultural education to undertake professional work in the media arts industries and related fields. Majors can be chosen from Animation, Digital Design, Drama, Film and Television , Interactive Multimedia , Music Media, Performing Arts and Web Development. Opportunities for further learning for Bachelor of Media Arts degree graduates are available at the Bachelor Honours and Doctoral level. 

Content & Structure

Graduates of the Bachelor of Media Arts degree will have a broad and coherent body of knowledge, with depth in the underlying principles and concepts within a major discipline of Media Arts, and a second sub-major discipline, as a basis for independent lifelong learning.

Students complete one Media Arts Major selected from:
