Aim

To prepare professionally competent graduates who understand the moral, ethical and political dimensions of teaching and the teaching profession, the diversity of the communities in which they will work and the need to be guided by principles of social and ecological justice as they effect positive changes in students' lives.

Content & Structure

The program is equivalent to two years of full-time study, that is 72 units, but is offered in accelerated mode over 18 months as reflected in the program schedule. The program includes Education Studies, Learning Area Studies, Professional Experience (in each of the three Study Periods) and a Professional Option.
