Aim

To provide a postgraduate qualification in Forensic Computing (Electronic Evidence) and Cyber Security to meet the demands of Law Enforcement, Australian Government, Defence, Security and banking industry for students from a scientific, technical or law enforcement background.

Content & Structure

The program consists of core courses in Cyber Security, Intrusion Detection, Secure Software Lifecycle and Critical Infrastructure Protection. A total of 36 units of study must be completed.

The program will be offered in both: traditional mode over 13 weeks x 2 hour seminar and 1 hour practical per week in SP2 and SP5; and intensive block teaching mode, 5 days x 8 hours over 1 week in SP2 and SP5 with ongoing web mediated support.
