Entry requirements
Applicants would normally have completed a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Management, or Information Technology, or equivalent qualification, or Graduate Certificate, in Engineering, Science, Management, or Information Technology to qualify for admission. Applicants with a Diploma plus a minimum of 3 years of managerial or professional work experience will be assessed on a case by case basis, or applicants who do not have an academic qualification but have at least eight years relevant managerial experience may gain entry to the program and will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Aim

This program provides graduates with the ability to apply principles, practice and skills in the areas of logistics and supply chain management for a career in manufacturing, distribution and related industries. It also provides students with the opportunity to develop and apply those skills through the integration and application of knowledge to examine and evaluate case studies.

Content & Structure

The Graduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management consists of 18 units of study comprising of one compulsory course and three elective courses.

1. The course Supply Chain Management G is compulsory.

2. Depending on demand, not all courses in the schedule may be offered in any one year.

3. Subject to market demand, other courses may be selected with the approval of the Program Director.

4. Credit will not normally be granted for more than one third of the total units of the program.

5. Upon satisfactory completion of the Graduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, students may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma or Masters of Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.
