Applicants are required to have at least one of the following:
A completed Bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognised higher education institution; OR
5 years of relevant experience in industry

In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

To develop the knowledge and skills of students in core topics in ICT in preparation for further postgraduate study.
Content & Structure
The Graduate Certificate consists of 18 units of study covering the core courses from the Master of Information and Communications Technology Management and Master of Information Technology, offering an introduction into postgraduate studies. Successful graduates from LCIF can continue into either the Master of Information and Communications Technology Management or the Master of Information Technology.
