Aim

The Master of Engineering (Civil) aims to provide graduates and current practitioners from civil engineering oriented disciplines with an advanced level of knowledge and understanding in a range of civil engineering areas of study.

Content & Structure

The program requires the completion of 36 units of courses.

Students can complete either:

  • Principles of Project Management and seven electives from any area (36 units); OR 
  • Principles of Project Management, five electives from any area (27 units) and Civil Engineering Research Project (9 units);

The elective courses may be chosen from one or more areas of study from the following:

    • Structural Engineering 
    •  Environmental Management 
    • Transport Engineering 
    •  Project Management 
    •  Water Resources Management

There is no restriction on the minimum or maximum number of elective units that may be selected from any area of study.
