The admission criteria have been grouped to assist you to easily find the information most relevant to your circumstances. However, you may fit into more than one and the university will consider applicants against each of the relevant criteria.

To be eligible for selection, applicants are required to have:
Completed the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE); and
* For Stage 2 subjects a grade of C- or better is required
The program requires the completion of 108 units, organised into three levels over three years.
Level 1 (one study period) introduces students to a range of skills and knowledge areas in the visual and applied arts and cultural studies fields, thus providing a foundation for further studies.
Level 2 (three study periods) and Level 3 (two study periods) extend and consolidate students' skills and knowledge areas through a major study in one arts discipline, and a minor study from another. Students may choose from the studio disciplines of Ceramics, Drawing, Glass, Jewellery and Metal, New Media Arts, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture and Textiles as well as Visual Art History and Theory. Additional core theory courses of 18 units will consolidate students knowledge of visual culture and professional practice.
