Students obtain two degrees in four years of fulltime study in this double degree program. The program prepares students for professional practice in Journalism while at the same time providing a deepening international awareness. Graduates will be equipped to practice as journalists in international and culturally diverse contexts.
The program is made up of 9 units of Common Core courses (2 courses), an extended 54 unit professional major in Journalism (11 courses), a 36 unit professional major in International Relations (8 courses), 18 units of foreign language studies (4 courses), 18 units of World Politics electives (4 courses) or an international exchange half year, a 4.5 unit Free Elective and a 4.5 unit Indigenous Studies course.
