To be eligible for selection, applicants are required to have:
Completed the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE); and
* For Stage 2 subjects a grade of C- or better is required

This three year program provides a comprehensive grounding in modern Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Optimisation theory and practice. Students receive a solid foundation in each of the three areas of Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Optimisation in the first two years of the program, with the opportunity to further specialise within their chosen Elective Stream in the final year. Students may have the opportunity to work with Business or Industry on a major Clinic Project and will be selected on academic merit.
One hundred and eight (108) units of study are required to complete the program.
The ATAR cut off for this program is subject to significant fluctuation e.g. in 2009 the ATAR cut off was 85.7, whereas in 2010 the cut off was 97.3. The cut off is provided for information only and is not to be considered as the minimum ATAR required for entry in the program in future years. Prospective students interested in studying this program are encouraged to include this program in their SATAC preferences irrespective of their actual or expected ATAR.
