Notes

1. Students are required to take 5 elective courses with a total value of 22.5 units.Students are required to complete 2 electives in their first year of study and 3 in their second.Electives are listed in the Schedule.Not all electives will necessarily be available in any one calendar year and the decision on whether or not to offer a particular elective will depend on student demand.Students may be allowed to substitute electives from other university programs with the approval of the Program Director.

2. Students enrolling in Contemporary Planning Theory (ARCH 5017) should normally have completed Introduction to Regional and Urban Planning (ARCH 5011) first.

3. Students enrolling in Planning Research Project 2 (ARCH5039) are required to have successfully completed Planning Research Project 1 (ARCH5038).

4. Students enrolling in Sustainable Urban Design Workshop (ARCH 5030) should normally have completed Sustainable Urban Design (ARCH 5013) first.
